For Charity
Today, Yahoo! gave us gift card worth of USD$50.00 which can be used as a donation. There are 3 charity institutions to choose from, I selected GlobalGiving: Send Children to School. I think this is very nice of Yahoo! amidst of the challenges its facing right now.

Yahoo! SEA Hack Day in Singapore
We had a Hack Day in our office. Lots of food, snacks, red bull and of course beer. Most of my colleagues participated in the event and their ideas were great. Each participant had 2 minutes to present their hack. The judges had tough time choosing the best hack.

Rest in Peace
It was Saturday morning (6th of December), relatives and friends came over, after having a mass, we accompanied him to his grave. May you rest in peace bro.

PH Arrival
Finally arrived in the Philippines, I didn’t go directly to the wake, I stopped by at the house first where my father was waiting, when I saw him, I gave him a hug and said ‘Everything will be ok’. After having a light dinner, I went to the wake, when my mom saw me, she cried out loud. Almost everyone inside the room cried when they saw me maybe it’s because they remembered him with me.

Not Excited
Today, I will be going back to the Philippines and will stay there till the 10th of December. My brother will go back tomorrow. The feeling of excitement is not with me this time as my whole family are in grief. Most of my relatives are there to show some support. And also, friends are there and others will be there soon. Retrenchment
I was in the Philippines when the retrenchment happened, some of my colleagues got the axe, I know some of them and I feel bad about it. Since there’s nothing we can do, all I can say is there’s always sunshine after the rain and I wish you all the best. You will always bleed purple.
